Meet the Music Together® Teachers

Our teachers come from all sorts of backgrounds, but they’re united by a common passion: Sharing music with children and families in the South Jersey area!

All teachers have successfully completed the live Music Together® Teacher Training, which is built on research in early childhood and music development. We keep our skills fresh through workshops every semester and advanced training offered by Music Together Worldwide.

Starting out as a “Music Together® MOM” herself, Miss Jeannie considers it a blessing to combine her passion for music and love for children and call it a job! She has so much fun seeing the joy that music brings on the faces of these wonderful children and the bond that is created with their parents and caregivers is priceless. “I always come out of class feeling ten feet tall! It is an honor to share the wonder of music with my families,” says Miss Jeannie. Her children, Allison and Evan, loved Music Together and growing up in a home where musical ways played. Everyone would often break out in harmony or dance in the kitchen. Music brings life to a home.

As a local musician and music educator, (@misssiobhanmusic) and Music Together momma (Oliver 3), Miss Siobhan is excited to share her love and passion for music with our community’s littlest generation. After studying at Rowan University with Dr. Lili Levinowitz, co-creator of Music Together, Miss Siobhan went on to become an elementary general music teacher and choral director. “When I received my Music Together certification in college I remember calling my mom afterward to thank her for all of the music she sang and played for me growing up. I hope to provide other families with the same enriching environment that helped me grow.” Music is so important to a child’s development at this age. Often we are the ones who get to witness a first babble, first word, first smile, or first wiggle. Music Together classes are truly magical.

Miss Sherri cherishes having participated in music classes with her own children. Even now, during her weekly classes, she observes incredible growth and community development within just ten weeks. Babies evolve from being cradled in their parents' arms to sitting up independently, and before long, they are toddling across the room to grab a scarf or a shaker egg.  As the teacher of all of our Infant Classes, she regularly tells families we don't expect the babies to do anything ~ but it's incredible how fast they do!

Music has always been a significant part of her life, whether it's singing camp songs with her scout troops or waking her kids each morning with a cheerful, personalized tune. When she joined the Music Together team, many of her friends with grown children enthusiastically shared their treasured Music Together memories with her. Music holds a special power; it captures moments and delightful memories, instantly transporting you back to them with just a few notes.

After deciding to re-enter the workforce following her time as a stay-at-home mom, Miss Sherri sought a fulfilling role. Alongside teaching over 20 classes a week, she also runs Music Together Conservatory of Musical Arts, allowing her to engage with and welcome every new family to our program.

Recently, Miss Sherri was honored at the 2025 Music Together Conference for achieving the best post-COVID recovery numbers worldwide. This achievement reflects the collective efforts of our teachers, our program, and, most importantly, our CMA families that have consistently recommended us for over 30 years as the area's leader in early childhood music education. Special thanks to our Director Tony Salicandro, for the trust and support he affords us to continue to grow.

As an early childhood educator and a musician, Miss Amanda discovered Music Together and immediately knew it was the perfect program to combine her passions! She has been teaching Music Together since 2003 and simply adores watching her little musicians and their families explore and play in a safe and joyful space. Music has been a part of Miss Amanda’s life for a very long time. She has been playing the flute since junior high school and has been acting and singing in local theaters for over 25 years. She also enjoys directing children’s theater where she helps kids shine on the stage and learn to love musical theater. Miss Amanda strongly believes that every child is musical and a Music Together classroom is the perfect place for these abilities to grow!

Pauline is the Music Director at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Haddonfield, where she directs five children and adult choirs starting at age 3, and is thrilled to add teaching Music Together to her work! She discovered Music Together when she took her daughter Amelia to a baby class, fell in love with the community and organization, and decided to get certified! Her favorite part of Music Together is witnessing the child’s personal and musical development throughout the semester - from interested passive watching to enthusiastic participation. Pauline has been a professional musician for over two decades, firmly believes that every person has musical potential, and is happy to get to be on this musical and developmental journey together!

Miss Katie was randomly introduced to Music Together early in her collegiate experience, and it ended up being a life changing experience for her.  Upon learning all about the benefits and importance of being involved with music from such a young age, it sparked her interest to become a music teacher and fully change her initially intended career path.  Now, as an elementary school general music and chorus teacher, she is beyond thrilled to become a teacher with the very program that sparked her career!  Miss Katie loves to be part of witnessing the developmental milestones of children, connections made and communities formed, the smiles on little ones and grown up's faces alike, and the warmth and joy Music Together brings to all!  Music is a universal language, and she is excited to share it with anyone and everyone who wants to be a part of this unique human experience.

An early childhood music educator for over twenty years, Elizabeth is thrilled to add Music Together to her teaching repertoire. She is also a Suzuki cello teacher, and has previously taught preschool music and worked with several children’s choirs. When a friend went through Music Together teacher training over ten years ago, Elizabeth immediately thought “I want to do that!” The timing never seemed to be right for her to do so, but when Elizabeth and her family moved to Haddonfield in January 2024, one of the first things she did was register her son for Music Together classes at CMA. From the very first class, Music Together exceeded all of Elizabeth’s expectations. She learns more about sharing the joy of music with children and families with every Music Together class she attends as a mom. She loves the relationships built with other families and the joyful, supportive environment that Music Together provides. Elizabeth firmly believes every child is inherently musical and is honored to walk alongside families as their children grow and discover a love for music!
